Our Wedding Update, 1/16/05:
Well, Dan has proposed and Sarah has a very beautiful ring and a wedding to plan! Sarah has begun various Excel spreadsheets
(thanks to Stockamp for her Excel skills!) to plan the wedding, including a Guest List matrix, a Task matrix, and the all-important
Budget. There are so many decisions to make and options to explore - it is overwhelming!
Sarah went to Springfield on January 15th and looked at a few reception sites. We are hoping to settle on one within
the next couple of weeks. We also need to book a church, but this shouldn't be a problem as there are about as many churches
in Girard, Sarah's hometown, as there are people. Sarah is hoping to go dress shopping soon with a few of her bridesmaids!
If anyone has any wedding ideas or suggestions - things you have seen at weddings that you liked or disliked, things you

Date: September 4, 2005 (Sunday before Labor Day) (tentative - don't book your flight or hotel yet!)
Location: Wedding in Girard, IL; reception in Springfield, IL (check back later for further details!) If you live in
the south Chicago suburbs, Springfield is about a 2.5-hour drive. We will have hotel rooms blocked off at a discounted rate
for out-of-town guests; we will send a save-the-date out soon with details.
